Hey Everyone,

I'm looking for some artists to work on a fantasy action RPG that my company is building. In some ways its similar to other games in the genre (Diablo, Titan Quest, etc.) in that it's an isometric view and you control 1 character that adventures around solving quests, increasing in levels, and finding cool new items but at the same time it has a bunch of strategy game elements that makes it feel like a very different type game.

What I'm looking for:
3D artists - monster, player, and environmental models and skins
2D artists - icons, UI, and ground textures

You would be an independent contractor working for royalties only.

You will need your own art tools. I support Max 5 - 8 for the 3D models and the textures are all tga files.

All of the art is going to be fairly low rez. For example, monster models are between 600 and 1200 polys and use one 256x256 texture each.

Also since this is a small startup company, I'll tell you a little bit about me. I've been working on this game full time for almost 2 years but before that I was the Technical Director at Ritual Entertainment where I worked for a little over 6 years. So I've been in the industry for a little while /images/graemlins/smile.gif

I just want to throw in my support for this. I worked with Steven back in my Ritual days. Great guy and even better Coder. If anyone is looking for a fun project to work on I’d recommend this. I’m contributing to it as well and the content is a lot of fun to work on. Fantasy with manageable poly and texture requirements.

I too am interested! As a recent graduate it'd be a great way to get my foot in the door. You can check out some of my student work at DGraziano.com. I love prop modeling, textures, and level design.
shoot me an e-mail at Dominic.Graziano@gmail.com if you're interested. I can also get you some more examples if needed.
