New features:
- Co-op: Players can now enjoy single player levels on Internet and LAN play with both Bots and human players. We have added a few options to allow the server admin to modify how the bots behave in game. Co-op play is not permitted on ranked servers.
- Air Dropped Vehicles: Squad members can no send a request to commanders to drop vehicles at their location.

Looks pretty sweet to me! (btw, if anyone still plays, I normally frag it up on a server called RubberDucky 72.51.60.157 port: 16567)

Yeh its a great patch... whole servers lock up. Pretty displeased with this one.

hhhhmmm, since patching initial logging into the game now takes absolutely forever, as does updating the server browser.

since patching i've had issues as well. but for some reason my fps increased.

Yeh but the whole gameplay of bf2 has been "messed around". Like, you have to be alive to change sqauds, it seems that the stinger missles have lost alot of range, which means by the time a stinger site has locked onto a plane, the plane is already bombing the stinger site.

Good for planes, bad for ground troops, which planes mince up with that massive gun they have.

Still pretty good fun on infantry only maps, in fact, damn good fun.

Yeah the new patch as some problems. It is fun, however, as Commander, to drop vehicles on helos and snipers. LOL http://hark49.homestead.com/files/whoo_hoo.gif

I have as many problems as I did before...no more. Some fixed, some new. Poor DICE. Not sure if I want to deal with BF2142 AND BF2. Changing squads while alive is fair. The new vehicles drops are fun. I mostly play on the 24/7 Karkland/WakeIsland servers.

My damn problem is with punkbuster.
I did a fresh DVD install yesterday, installed EuroForce and Special Forces, then dropped the 1.3 on it. Patched fine.

Punkbuster is giving me "inadequate OS privelages" error.
I'm the god damn PC ADMIN. WTF?

I only had one crash since I installed the patch, which is less than after installing the 1.2 which caused a lot of troubles on my comp...
only have the retail bf2, no addons, no mods
